More info

Nana Duck is a beautifully illustrated and light-hearted children’s storybook, perfect for reading aloud to pre-school children.  The illustrations contain lots of small details for pointing out to the young audience and familiar items such as oatcakes that don’t appear in many children’s stories.

It is a fun tale that celebrates the relationship between grandparents and their grandchildren.  It explores how language can sometimes be confusing for children and how this can lead to kids saying the funniest things.  Is Nana all that she seems?  You’ll have to buy the book to found out!

Set in North Staffordshire, the book includes canals, oatcakes and “Ay-up Duck” so should strike a chord with anyone from the area or who has since moved away.

    Nana Duck

This is still one of my grandchildren's (now 6 and 8) favourite books for a bedtime story when they come for a sleepover. I love that it captures our Potteries heritage xx

Lovely story for all young children

My little boy has loved this book since his Nana bought it for him aged 18 months, he still enjoys it now at nearly 5 years old. The illustrations are beautiful, there's always something new to spot. A perfect bedtime story.

    Great Book for little one's

My 2 year old granddaughter loves Nana Duck. She loves to listen to it before bedtime when she has a sleepover at nanny's house and we also have to read it in the morning when she wakes up. I would recommend this book to every little child how love stories before bedtime.
